HOW ARE YOU?

Hello Beautiful People!! As Nationwide says, life comes at you fast. First, let me ask; HOW ARE ALL OF YOU DOING? (Answer me please in comments LOL).
I have had some good days and I have had some bad days, but I won’t complain. In the past few weeks I have been reminded of several things:
Check on your strong friends
Say I love you no matter the circumstance
CHECK-IN
Resolve situations, don’t sweep them under the rug
Actions speak way louder than words
Extend yourself and others Grace (I know, this was already a post…but we all need a reminder)
Now rather it be from my own situations or if I am on the listening end and lending advice to friends, these lessons have been conveyed loud and clear these past few weeks. Let’s break it down a little more:
Strong doesn’t mean, I can take everything! We always have those few friends, heck you may be the friend that is viewed as being strong and as humans we tend to think they are or you are ok. Sometimes we are forced to hold it all together, suffer in silence or don’t ask for help. All I am saying is, CHECK ON YOUR PEOPLE or check on yourself.
Saying I love you no matter the circumstance. I don’t care if you are mad at your spouse, got in an argument with a friend, or if you said I love you an hour ago…SAY I LOVE YOU! You never know what the next day or the next hour may bring. I LOVE YOU.
Check-in! Has someone ever crossed your mind and you said I need to text or call them, but then life happens and it slips your mind? That nagging feeling is there for a reason. Check on that person that you may not know, but you may notice they seem a little off. Follow that thought of whoever may cross your mind, even if it’s a quick text or call.
Resolve issues. Don’t keep walking around that 6ft tall rug that you sweep issues under. Simple, talk about it and move on…regardless if the relationship or situation still exist or not afterwards; RESOLVE THE ISSUES and learn from it.
Actions speak louder than words…don’t just talk about it, BE about it.
GRACE!! Again, I repeat give yourself and others GRACE. We all make mistakes, are busy, etc. Extend the grace, this can be the difference between healthier relationships and lifestyle.
Before I end, I want to be transparent. I recently loss someone that meant a lot to my family, a community that stretches far and wide, and myself. The news struck the hearts of many individuals. In their time here on earth they taught a lot of people how to make a positive impact, to have fun living life, to go for what you want, and most importantly how to genuinely love one another. Instead of worrying about the issues; simply try and resolve them by extending grace, checking-in on others, following through on your words, and showing that you love and genuinely care. These are additional life lessons that I was blessed to learn from my friend and mentor.
Just love always, until next time!
